They say that once Real Madrid come calling there is no turning back. This is the predicament that Thibaut Courtois is currently finding himself.

Belgium and Chelsea’s number one has won two out of the last three Premier League champions with the Stamford Bridge outfit and is apparently looking for a new challenge.

The man who forced club legend Petr Cech out of the club, Courtois does not want to sign a new contract with the English champions in the hope that Real Madrid come calling for him again.

In spite of having playing for Atletico Madrid, the Belgian does not have any reservations over switching allegiances by playing at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid having been in the market for a world class goal keeper for a while now. While Keylor Navas has been brilliant over the past few years, Real realize that there are upgrades available, notably Courtois and De Gea.

It seemed only a matter of time before De Gea finally returned to Spain, but a series of circumstances that managed to keep him at the club so far. While De Gea would certainly like to return, he is seemingly happy at Old Trafford at the moment.

And that opens the door for Courtois. Thibaut knows that if De Gea gets his Real move, then he could stay there for the rest of his career and thereby ending the Belgian’s dreams of a big move.

But with De Gea not confirmed at the moment, Courtois is telling his agent to get to work as he realizes that there could be an opening for him to secure a move back to Spain and Madrid.

Let’s see what happens!
