Toni Nadal – “Rafael Nadal can win Wimbledon this year”
Toni Nadal must be a very happy man. His nephew and client, Rafael Nadal has just won an incredible 10th French Open title, and is seemingly confident heading into this season’s Wimbledon. But he realizes that it will be difficult for Rafael to win, as the liked of Murray and Federer will really have a crack at the title this year. Toni has huge respect for Roger though, which was quite apparent as Toni Nadal calls Roger Federer the Greatest of All Time in a interview.
Toni was first of all confident that his nephew can have a good Wimbledon this year.
‘If he plays like he did in Paris I think he has chances to win,’ Toni said.

Speaking about Federer’s shock first round loss to Tommy Haas,
It’s because Federer has not been playing for a while and it affects a little bit. In Rafael’s case it’s different. This week he will rest, next week he will practice in Mallorca and the other one we will organize some exhibition matches so that we can compete.’
Toni also admitted that Rafael, who has played 49 matches, will need to rest as he feels he requires to relax and rejuvenate carefully before major tournaments.
Toni also spoke about who is thinks is the Greatest of All Time,
‘Federer without any doubt. It’s true, Rafa won more Masters 1000 titles, but Federer is above him in terms of weeks spent as world no. 1 and Grand Slam titles won.
I don’t know if they are the only ones, there is also Rod Laver who made history but who I don’t know very well.’
