His character in the ring was the same portrayal of who he really was. However, it was with his new entrance that he went on to greater heights.
After temporarily going away from the company, Punk surprisingly returned with a new and improved entrance theme. ‘The Cult of Personality’ was the perfect fit for C M Punk. He was quickly achieving cult status in the WWE and his legions of fans absolutely loved him. This song endeared him even more to the WWE Universe.
