The Roger Federer renaissance continues as he beat Stan Wawrinka 6-4 7-5 to win the BNP Paribas Open to win his 90th career title at Indian Wells. (Top 5 times Federer has won a tournament without dropping a set) People see Federer winning the BNP Paribas Open as a sign that Federer is all set for the big Wimbledon Grand Slam which will take place in a few weeks time.

In what was a tight match, Federer took the first set 6-4 against his good friend Wawrinka. His backhands were particularly impressive and then took the second set 7-5 to seal the deal and win the trophy.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Federer beat Adrian Mannarino, Richard Gasquet , Juan Monaco and Tomas Berdych to set up a final clash with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

He dominated Tsonga in the final and won the match comfortably.
