Torreira training session video: A training session video has emerged where Lucas Torreira owns Hector Bellerin in one-on-one.
Arsenal are currently 5th in the Premier League, and are unbeaten across all competitions since the defeat to Chelsea in August.
The Gunners are level on points with the Stamford Bridge side, and 8 points behind the league leaders Liverpool.
Lucas Torreira has been central to Arsenal’s impressive season so far. The Uruguayan midfielder performed efficiently in the midfield, and scored his first goal for the club in the North London derby earlier this month.
He scored a late winner against Huddersfield last season to keep Arsenal level with Chelsea as the side fights for the top-4.
A training session has now surfaced where Torreira takes on his teammate, Hector Bellerin. It would be fair to say that the Spanish defender would’ve seen better days..
Torreira training session video:
Lucas Torreira takes on Hector Bellerin in a one-on-one training session, and not only prevents the Spanish player from scoring, but takes the ball and almost scores one himself.
The Uruguayan midfielder tackles Bellerin as he is about to take the shot, and cleverly turns him around, taking the ball to the other end. His shot, however, is saved by the goalkeeper.
Here’s the video of the goal:

Lucas Torreira joined Arsenal this season after impressive performances in the World Cup for Uruguay in Russia. He has emerged as one of the top players for Arsenal ever since he signed for the club, and has been praised by fans and pundits alike for his incredible work ethic.
This man has been different class this season & is vital for us in the middle of the park. He turns defence into attack so well, links up play, his passing range is superb and with Torreira beside him, they already look like a world class partnership.

“Once the World Cup was over I travelled rapidly to London to sign a contract and perform all of the paperwork,” Torreira said about his transfer in an interview in November.
“When I got to the club, I greeted all the technical staff and the people who work there. I was approached by Emi Martinez, an Argentine goalkeeper, and we chatted for a bit.”
He appreciated the presence of diverse nationalities in the Arsenal dressing room, and revealed that he’s learning English.
In the last 6 weeks, Lucas Torreira has been awarded man of the match against Tottenham, Liverpool & Huddersfield. He’s also added two vital goals during this time, including the winner last weekend. Despite this, Merson claims he’s overrated & wouldn’t get near the top 4. #afc pic.twitter.com/0JbBa6yVvF

“In our locker room, there are players of many nationalities, many languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish. They speak everything a little bit. With some, I communicate in English and others in Italian. Little by little I’m dropping some words in English; this is good,” Torreira said.
