Tottenham Vs Liverpool Match Referee: UEFA announce Champions League final match officials

Tottenham Vs Liverpool Match Referee: UEFA have announced the refereeing team which will take care of finals of the UEFA Champions League. 

The match referee between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool has been finalised and the Slovenian International Damir Skomina will take charge of that prestigious game. The match will be held at Wanda Metropolitano in the capital city of Spain on June 1 in an all-English affair.

Having already officiated the UEFA Europa League finals between Ajax and Manchester United & UEFA Super Cup between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, Skomina has been appointed for the grand finale of the biggest European competition. Staying as an international referee since 2002, the Slovenian has been finalized as the referee to take over the finals of a European competition for the third time in seven years.

Damir Skomina has taken charge of four Champions League and two Europa League games this season as well. At the final in Madrid, he will be assisted by his fellow countrymen Jure Praprotnik and Robert Vukan. The fourth official will be the famous Antonio Mateu Lahoz from Spain. The video assistant referee role has been assigned to Danny Makkelie from the Netherlands, who will be supported by Pol van Boekel, Felix Zwayer, and Mark Borsch.
