TRA vs SUP Dream 11 Prediction

TRA vs SUP Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s TRA vs SUP Women’s IPL match as TSR helps you form Dream 11 team.

Coming on the back of an exhibition T20 match last year, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) have announced a tri-series involving both Indian and overseas players. Slated to begin tonight, an additional team in Velocity (led by Mithali Raj) has been added other than the two existing teams in Trailblazers and Supernovas.

All the four matches will be played in Sawai Mansingh Stadium at Jaipur. Led by Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur, the first match will be played between Trailblazers and Supernovas. The match will begin at 07:30 PM.

TRA vs SUP Dream 11 Prediction

Wicket-keeper for TRA vs SUP Dream 11

I will pick Taniya Bhatia over Ravi Kalpana for the wicket-keeper’s position in my Dream11 team for the first match of the Women’s IPL. While Kalpana hasn’t made her T20I debut as yet, Bhatia has played as many as 31 T20Is for India since making her debut against South Africa in February 2018.

The fact she can also open the batting further keeps her above Kalpana in the Dream11 team.

Bowlers for TRA vs SUP Dream 11

I will suggest you all to continue with the usual logic of picking less bowlers in your Dream11 team. Taking into consideration Dream11’s point system, including more than 3-4 bowlers can take a toll on your rank.

Among the three bowlers which I have picked are veteran India pacer Jhulan Goswami, New Zealand pacer Lea Tahunu and India leg-spinner Poonam Yadav. Given Goswami’s experience, picking her in my team is an absolute no-brainer.

Having picked 44 wickets in 50 T20Is at an average of 20.86, an economy rate of 5.86 and a strike rate of 21.2, Tahunu makes a strong case for being included in the squad.

Yadav, who has dismissed 74 batters in 54 T20Is at an average of 14.77, an economy rate of 5.69 and a strike rate of 15.5, has it in her to deceive the opposition batsmen. With the pitch at Sawai Mansingh Stadium favourable towards the spinners, expect the 27-year old bowler to create a significant impact tonight.

All-rounders for TRA vs SUP Dream 11

Given the conditions on offer, I have been partial in my decision-making in terms of picking two spin-bowling all-rounders alongside one medium-pace all-rounder. It is imperative to pick two overseas experienced all-rounders in Sophie Devine and Stefanie Taylor.

With both of possessing praiseworthy numbers in 83 and 92 T20Is respectively, they are highly likely of benefiting you on Dream11 because of their all-rounder skills.

In 21-year old Deepti Sharma, the Trailblazers all-rounder is another player who can dominate the proceedings in the T20 format. Having scored 188 (160) in an ODI vs Ireland, it speaks highly about her credentials in the format.

Batswomen for TRA vs SUP Dream 11

Arguably the two biggest names in the Indian T20I’s side, there shouldn’t be an iota of doubt in your mind regarding picking captain Harmanpreet Kaur and opening batter Smriti Mandhana in your Dream11 side. With both supreme talents leading the two sides, expect them to take the extra onus on themselves.

With both of them playing in other T20 leagues as well, their experience should most probably convert into performance.

In 25 T20Is, top-order batter Jemimah Rodrigues has scored 608 runs at an average of 30.40 and a strike rate of 123.57 including five half-centuries. As a top-order batter, expect the sensational talent to be among the runs as well. My fourth batter for the Dream11 team would be Bharati Fulmali primarily because of a budget constraint.
