Triple H presents the English Cricket Team with a custom WWE championship belt following their maiden World Cup triumph in the recently concluded quadrennial event.

Never has a run-out mattered more in cricket than it did last Sunday. The English now, finally have a cricket World Cup trophy to keep in their trophy cabinet. The entire country celebrated the victory as a nation full of exuberant supporters erupted in high spirits. The adulation has poured from all over the world and the people that matter at the Stamford Connecticut office of WWE have also taken notice of the achievement.

WWE’s Triple H has taken to twitter to congratulate the new World Champions. The Chief Operating Officer of the biggest wrestling company in the world then presented them with a custom WWE Championship belt. The Side plates on the WWE title has the three lions insignia along with the words 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup Champions written on it.

England and New Zealand tied the match in their 50 overs. Both the teams scored 241 runs each. The game was then taken to the super over which also ended up with scores leveled as England and New Zealand fetched 15 runs each from their 6 balls. However, the boundary count tie-breaker came into effect and England were handed Cricket’s top prize.

This is not the first time that Triple H has sent out a custom championship belt to a champion in the sport of cricket. Back in 2017, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma also received one after they won the Indian Premier League that year.
