Twitch Hot Tub streaming has divided opinions and now xQc speaks out about the whole issue and calls on Twitch to take action against it.
The rules of Twitch are largely unclear and sometimes even bizarre. Handing out random bans and not explaining the reason is just one of the few of Twitch’s administrative decisions that many have deemed inexplicable.
Streaming genres like like the Hot Tub ones have existed since forever and irked many. A large number of streaming personalities and viewers are criticizing the genre and are urging Twitch to ban them.
How do the Hot Tub Stream work –
Looking at a stream many would wonder how does Twitch allow it. Well the streamers make use of a loophole in Twitch’s policy. The policy states that – Twitch will allow swimsuits to be worn if the context warrants it.
The Hot Tub is then used as a loophole in this policy. Since then this kind of stream has turned into a meta. With streamers able to get away wearing revealing and suggestive clothing.
xQc speaks out against Hot Tub stream.
xQc in a tweet earlier today criticized the new genre calling it “A sad reality” and “one of the most pathetic thing we have seen on Twitch”. He also urged Twitch to take some action against it.
He is not the first major streamer to voice his concerns. Streamer Asmongold said that by allowing such genres to continue Twitch was creating Anti-women sentiment within the community.
