Never say never when MS Dhoni and CSK are around, as MS Dhoni played a blinder tonight against KXIP at Mohali. With a severely injured back, MS Dhoni battled on and played a brilliant innings which almost took his team home.
CSK seemed dead and buried before Dhoni started teeing off on the bowlers. While he could not run at full pace, Dhoni started smashing sixes at will, as he took his beloved CSK side to within touching distance of KXIP’s score.
But eventually it was too much for even Dhoni, as the greatest finisher in history could not pull it off tonight. Dhoni’s bad back incapacitated him, as Mahi could barely move.
