Conor McGregor, the former lightweight UFC champion is not new to Twitter spats. Despite not fighting for almost two years now, ‘The Notorious’ surely knows how to keep himself in the headlines.
Recently, the Irish star expressed his disgust over middleweight UFC fighter Kelvin Gastelum’s injury on social media. McGregor used a bit of harsh language to share his view on the same. This didn’t sit well with Gastelum and he clapped back on Twitter. However, his rather ‘weak’ comeback failed to impress fight fans.
Fans react to Kelvin Gastelum’s ‘trash’ comeback on Conor McGregor
Initially, Conor McGregor took to his official Instagram account and posted a story about Gastelum’s injury. In that, he wrote, “absolute scruff this thing is. that’s full-on staph infection all over his fucking face. A full fucking hole omg and it’s his second time to attempt to enter competition like this. wtf! clean your mats. wash yourself. fucking go to the doctor! Scruff.”

Gastelum has pulled out of the UFC Fight Night
In the year’s first UFC event, Kelvin Gastelum was scheduled to fight against Nassourdine Imavov in the main event. However, Gastelum suffered a mouth injury just a week before the fight.
Thus, he had to pull out of the bout. Interestingly, the number seven UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland has chimed in to take the fight on short notice. However, this will be a light-heavyweight showdown. The event will take place on Sunday, Jan 15 inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
What are your thoughts on the new main event? What is your reaction to Gastelum’s comeback?
