Anderson Silva vs Anthony Pettis Dana White opens up on a potential matchup

The unexpected incident that happened between UFC president Dana White and his wife Anne White has left the internet divided. The UFC boss slapped his wife twice after her first strike during New Year’s Eve.

White has received heavy backlash for his behavior on the internet. However, many believe that the UFC kingpin hasn’t suffered much consequences for his actions. One of them is a two-time Super Bowl champion, Torrey Smith.

What did the ex-NFL star say about Dana White?

It is important to note that following the incident White publically took full responsibility for his actions and apologized. He also guaranteed that such a thing will never happen again, in an interview with TMZ.

However, this isn’t enough for Torrey Smith. The former NFL player took to his official Twitter account and posted a thread pointing out the hypocrisy of the mainstream media. In his tweet, Smith stated that the media has given leeway to White.

He also compared what the consequences would have been if it was an athlete instead of the UFC president. Further on, Smith was of the opinion that people with more power have an upper hand in society and can get away with certain wrongdoings easily.

“Folks don’t really care about domestic violence. They only care when certain people do it. People with power can do whatever and folks are silent. That’s why Dana White has been ignored. It’s lame. If he was an athlete they would try to get him kicked out of the league,” Smith wrote.
