The Bellator veteran Dillon Danis had a night to rather forget against YouTuber turned-fighter Logan Paul on his boxing debut. The WWE star dominated all six rounds as he secured a win via disqualification. Many experts and fans chimed in with their opinion after the boxing fight. The close man of Khabib Nurmagomedov joined the bracket by sharing an insulting message to Conor McGregor’s teammate in his recent Tweet.
In the Misfit boxing co-main event, the Maverick reigned supreme over Danis and claimed the bragging rights on 14th October. A section of the combat sports community wasn’t happy with the approach the BJJ star used for the fight.
Moreover, there is bad blood between Nurmagomedov and McGregor’s camp. Thus, it was not surprising that the manager of Nurmagomedov shared his one-word review on the same.
Manager of Khabib Nurmagomedov insults the teammate of Conor McGregor
UFC middleweight star Gilbert Burns is quite active on social media, much like his manager, Ali Abdelaziz. The Egyptian manager had Khabib Nurmagomedov under his banner as well.
Recently, ‘Durinho‘ made a Tweet asking his followers to describe Dillon Danis in one word. Abdelaziz took this opportunity to throw shade at the Irishman’s friend. He wrote:
“Coward“
Coward
— Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00) October 16, 2023
While this would feel agitating to ‘El Jefe‘, Abdelaziz once did much more than just throwing verbal jabs at the BJJ star. Back in 2021, the manager of Khabib Nurmagomedov squared up and hit Danis.
When Abdelaziz slapped Danis
Over the years, not only Conor McGregor but also Dillon Danis has had a rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov. Evidently, ‘The Eagle‘ jumped over the octagon towards the BJJ star to start a post-fight UFC 229 brawl.
Thus, it is safe to say that McGregor and Nurmagomedov’s rivalry is not only bound to both fighters. The bitterness of their rivalry transcends to their team as well. Perhaps that’s why Abdelaziz squared up the BJJ coach of ‘The Notorious‘.
As per a Tweet from John Morgan, Nurmagomedov’s manager slapped Danis backstage at UFC 268. In the aftermath, Danis had to be escorted out of the premises to resist further altercation.
Ali Abdelaziz slapped Dillon Danis backstage tonight at #UFC268 according to multiple people who witnessed the incident. Danis was then apparently removed from the building.
Reached out to @AliAbdelaziz00, but he declined to comment.

Despite the recent comment of Abdelaziz, Danis hasn’t responded to the insult. However, given their feud and Danis’ nature, it is likely that he will come up with a prompt reply.
