Mark Zuckerberg is slowly making his name in the realm of MMA. Not only has he trained in MMA but he has also show interest in now fighting another billionaire in Elon Musk. What’s more, Zuckerberg is also a big fan of UFC. The $700,000,000,000 worth Meta CEO has attended several events of UFC. Once he allegedly attended a private UFC event solely for him and his wife Priscilla Chan. According to reports after attending he made a notable deal for $1,499 product.

Zuckerberg has taken part in couple of MMA tournaments recently. Furthermore, he did quite well in those tournaments fetching gold and silver medal. This further solidifies his interest in MMA.

He even appeared on UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast as a guest where the duo discussed in length about various topics. During the podcast he revealed that he was training in MMA.

UFC and Mark Zuckerberg deal

Just over a week after Zuckerberg appeared on the UFC event there was a statement regarding the new deal. The deal is regarding UFC’s live event broadcast on the Meta’s ‘$1,499.99’ VR headset.

Statement was, “Fans will enter an immersive environment in Meta Horizon Worlds where they can see and speak with other fans in real-time while enjoying unprecedented VR views of all the thrilling action in the LFA Octagon, including strikes, takedowns, grappling, and more.

As per an article on the Insider the statement was in regards to an immersive Meta virtual experience of UFC events. The headset will feature live events such UFC PPV and will have extra perks.

Zuckerberg exclusive UFC event

The Meta CEO is a huge fan of UFC. Not only does he follow UFC but he also knows a lot of fighters. This was evident when fighters such Jon Jones rallied their support for him in regards to train him.

This love for UFC was evident when he attended a private UFC event. As of April 2023 UFC was valued at over $12 billion. Furthermore, UFC’s parent company has also acquired WWE in a mega deal linking UFC fighters for a crossover event in future.

Zuckerberg attended the private UFC event on 1st October back in 2022. The event was only exclusive to Zuckerberg and his guests. There were no reporters present during the event as well. There were some executives from Facebook present as well. The press were banned from the event thus there is not much known about the event.
