Former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate has been having sleep challenges and mental health concerns as a result of his recent incarceration. Tate’s three months in prison, according to his lawyer Tina Glandian, had had a major negative impact on his health. Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were both detained in Romania in December 2022. The arrest was made on accusations of participating in human trafficking and money laundering.

Tate aka ‘Cobra’ wasn’t charged with the said crimes, though, and was instead put under house arrest. Tate’s mental health has worsened despite this in the weeks after his release.

What did Tina Glandian say about Andrew Tate?

Glandian, a high-profile defense attorney, recently discussed Tate’s difficulties in an interview with Piers Morgan. She explained how her client had been “struggling mentally” and “having trouble sleeping” ever since his stint behind bars.

“The three months in jail certainly took a toll on them. He (Andrew Tate) right now has a lot of trouble sleeping. He can’t sleep for more than two hours a night… they are struggling with the process that they have been through,” Glandian said.

Tate’s mental health issues are not totally evident in terms of their causes. The trauma of being detained and imprisoned, even for a little time, can, nevertheless, negatively affect a person’s well-being. One’s mental health may suffer greatly from the strain of facing major criminal charges as well as the uncertainty of the judicial system.

Andrew Tate and his brother are used to their flamboyant lifestyle. Thus, even during their time in jail, they struggled with their physical health given the conditions and food in jail.

However, further in the interview, Glandian revealed that the brothers are regaining their physical health by working out and following a routine as they believe it helps strengthen their minds too.

Tate receives praise from UFC superstar

Despite his controversial nature, ‘Cobra’ is recognized by several notable celebrities, including UFC stars. That said, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya recently praised Tate for being an advocate for traditional masculinity.

Israel Adesanya defended his backing of controversial personalities Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson, and David Goggins in a recent edition of The Honey Badger Hour podcast.

He said that ‘Cobra’ is only trying to hold men responsible and help revive masculinity. Fans who disagree with these leaders’ opinions, meanwhile, have criticized his remarks.

Tate is charged with encouraging toxic masculinity. Adesanya’s remarks have prompted a discussion regarding the obligation prominent personalities have to their followers, as well as their role in spreading particular ideologies.

What are your thoughts on Israel Adesanya’s opinion? What do you guys think about Glandian’s revelations about Tate?
