'He looked fu****g awesome': Dana White On Mike Tyson's Comeback In The Boxing Ring

Dana White is all praise for Mike Tyson after the former undisputed champion stepped inside the boxing ring again on Saturday for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.

While he is an outright critic of the boxing promoters and deems them responsible for the diminishing impact of Boxing, but above all the president of the leading MMA promotion in the world Dana White is a fan of the fighting game. Thus, even though he had a UFC fight night to govern on Saturday, he kept his other eye reserved for the iconic exhibition match between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. that took place at the same time.

With all the exceptional rules and guidelines the bout ended in a draw. However, it may still get a spot in the front-page headlines, as two of the greats of the Combat world, who are well past their prime, squared off to present a spectacle.

Since it was certain that the match-up would raise eyebrows of all the fight fanatics and by the time it would end all the enthusiasts would have an opinion on how everything relating to the fight panned out and hence the same applied on Dana White as well.

Dana White On Mike Tyson’s Comeback In the Boxing ring

At the post UFC Vegas 15 presser, Dana White expressed his views on the culminated fight. White conveyed, he was concerned for his good friend Mike Tyson but what transpired ultimately in the 4-sided ring blown him away.

“I was nervous, I thought he’s 56 (54) years old. Time is undefeated, okay time takes us all down. And one of the things that I was worried for Mike is that he has that incredible aura still and 56-years-old is, fighting is a young man’s game. All that being said he looked fu****g awesome tonight.

I was blown away by how good he looked and I was worried about, Roy, Roy is 51 years old but Roy is more active than Tyson has been but Roy actually got more tired than Mike tonight which was shocking and I am happy for him, I hope they both made a fu****g zillion dollars and yeah it exceeded my expectations.”
