The universal truth that makes combat sports, or any other sport in that matter less complicated is, the fact that there is always going to be one winner. Still, on many occasions the person or the team who comes second also becomes the bearer of unanimous respect. Which is exactly how the main event of Fight Island 3 will be defined.
Darren Till who was predicted to fall short against Robert Whittaker, did fell short. However, the English MMA professional impressed many in his way to the finish.
The 27-year-old came out in silence, without the walkout music to pay respect to the fans.
Instead of his usual “Sweet Caroline,” @darrentill2 walked out to silence, because that walkout song is for the fans in attendance and watching at home 🤫 #UFCFightIsland3 pic.twitter.com/a7z7ADHTEN
