'I don't think I can make it': Mike Perry Is Not Confident About Hitting The Defined Weight Mark For UFC 255

Mike Perry is not confident whether he will be able to cut the required weight on time. The fighter is a part of the main card of UFC 255.

Mike Perry, who is scheduled to face Tim Means at the month’s marquee event- UFC 255- has raised concerns over the possibility of his participation.

The platinum one is apparently going through a tough weight cut ahead of the fight, and is not sure whether he will be able to hit the defined weight mark at the official weigh-in segment.

It is a welterweight contest, thus both the fighters need to carry a weight between 156-170 pounds. But as per Perry’s latest tweets he is not on the right track to reach 170.

Mike Perry’s Update On Weight-cut

When it comes to his in-ring act, the 29-year-old has had a successful 2020, considering he only fought once. However, on the personal front, Perry has been a bearer of some serious trouble.

Last month, his ex-wife pressed charges of domestic violence against him, though he has termed the accusations as false, but in the run-up to UFC 255, he is constantly been asked about the concerned matter.

While, he indicated that the accusations do not concern him and he is ready to step inside the Octagon again, but now with weight cut worries, Mike Perry hints that his looming fight is possibly in jeopardy.

Mike Perry also shared his update on the weight-cut, and conveyed that there’s still 6 pounds to cut, which is worrisome, since not much time is left for him to reach the eligibility criteria.

So, a day before UFC 255 and Mike Perry, who is a significant feature in the card, apparently doesn’t cut out a confident figure. And is also not evidently motivated about going the distance.

The results of weigh-ins are set to appear in few hours. Therefore let’s see whether Mike Perry makes it or not.
