Dana White believes Conor McGregor Vs. Dustin Poirier oriented UFC 257 event will edge out UFC 229 which featured Conor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
After months of waiting UFC 257 has finally arrived at the scene and it is trending worldwide. The biggest selling point of the event is its main event which is the much-awaited rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. The buzz about this fight is apparently so big that UFC 257 may turn out to become the most successful Pay-Per-View of all time.
UFC 229 currently leads the chart with 2.4 million PPV buys, however, with the rising trends about UFC 257, there are rumblings that this event will supersede the previous best. And the bearer of this news is none other than the president of UFC Dana White.
Watch Dana White convince Khabib Nurmagomedov to consider taking a rematch with Conor McGregor
On Friday, a clip surfaced on social media in which Dana White can be seen sitting inside a fight island facility along with Khabib Nurmagomedov. The camera captured Dana whispering in the ear of Khabib about the possible breakout of the UFC 257 and also about it perhaps raking more numbers than the Khabib Vs. Conor PPV. UFC boss further made a telling comment which could be assumed as a step to lure Khabib back into UFC.
“This fight with Poirier is trending bigger than the fight with you and Conor on Pay Per View. Imagine what you and Conor would do in another f***ing fight. Just saying. I’m just saying” Dana White said.

Last Week Khabib and Dana held a meeting to talk about the eagle’s UFC future. The meeting did not go sideways however there is still no concrete word about whether Khabib will come back for another fight or not.
The entire MMA circuit though hopes for the Dagestani fighter to return, yet it’s anybody’s guess whether he is still seeking the 30-0 mark or not.
