UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya posed alongside Mark Zuckerberg to mock South Africans Elon Musk and Dricus Du Plessis. Musk and Zuckerberg feud is boiling up with recent remarks from the ‘Chief Twit’ on Twitter. Things are escalating when Zuckerberg made a similar platform to dethrone Twitter. As things stand, a potential fight between Musk and Zuckerberg is becoming increasingly likely. Recently, Adesanya who is training alongside Zuckerberg fired shots against their opponents.
Israel Adesanya was present UFC 290 when Du Plessis dominantly reigned victorious over Robert Whittaker. There were talks ongoing regarding the upcoming fight of Adesanya. He picked Du Plessis as his next opponent with the stipulation that he had to win a fight.
Thus, when Du Plessis got his hand raised at UFC 290 over Whittaker, Adesanya inside the stage to face-off against Du Plessis. The face off was nothing short of fireworks. The fight makes sense as there is real beef between the Adesanya and Du Plessis. Thus, the jab against Du Plessis and Musk were not surprising.

Mark Zuckerberg is utilizing his connections inside UFC to train alongside Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski. Recently, after a training session with Zuckerberg, Adesanya uploaded a post which caught the attention of the MMA community with the caption.

In the post were photos showing Zuckerberg and Adesanya sparring intensely. One photo showed Zuckerberg striking Adesanya whereas in the other the Kiwi fighter had taken the Meta CEO down to the ground and hitting him. It is quite evident that Zuckerberg wants the world to know that he shouldn’t be taken lightly. However, why is Zuckerberg so eager to prove his MMA prowess?
Musk Vs Zuckerberg heats up
Zuckerberg’s newly laucnhed Threads amassed a total of 30 million new users after just 24 hours. It was the fastest platform to do so. However, according to the Twitter CEO there are too many similarities between Thread and Twitter.
Furthermore, Musk also accuses of hiring several former Twitter employees for Threads. He has also shown concerns about the ‘scrapping and crawling’ of the Twitter user data which could lead to a potential lawsuit. This comes after Twitter having imposed a very bizarre user limit which drew a lot of backlash from the users.
However, a Thread employee came out defending Zuckerberg as he claimed that there are no former employees working in the engineering department at Threads. The data scrapping was also ridiculed as reported by Business Insider, the employee spoke about how the Threads platform has a database of Instagram and Meta to rely upon.
