Jake Paul, the YouTuber turned professional boxer, promised Nate Diaz a whopping $10 million to fight inside a cage. Stockton’s second child, on the other hand, does not appear to be interested in the offer. This is the first time Diaz will be in action since his exit from UFC in 2022. Many fans, however, were perplexed as to why Paul was not engaging in an MMA contest versus the ex-UFC fighter.
To silence his detractors, ‘The Problem Child’ stated publicly that he is more than willing to battle Diaz inside the cage following their boxing showdown. Diaz, on the other hand, wants more than $10 million for an MMA slugfest.
What did Nate Diaz say about Jake Paul’s offer?
Jake Paul recently took to his official Twitter account and the $10 million offer is still on the table for Diaz. The Ohio-based boxer wishes to compete under the PFL (Professional Fighters League) banner post their boxing match. Paul wrote:
“For all the clowns saying ‘why don’t you fight Nate Diaz in the cage.’ I made that offer to him from the start. $10M to fight me in PFL after we box on August 5th. Offer is still there Nathan.”

Paul has expressed his interest in pursuing an MMA career since his boxing debut. Interestingly, he signed a multi-year deal with the PFL before his boxing match with Diaz was announced.
In a recent interview with InsideFighing, Nate Diaz was questioned about an MMA fight with Jake Paul. However, the former UFC welterweight star sounded disinterested. Further, when the interviewer asked about the $10 million offer, Diaz demanded more. He said:
“We will see what happens. We’ll find out a way. It’s going to cost more than that.”
Diaz vs. Paul: Ready 4 War
While it is unknown if they will engage in an MMA event, Diaz vs. Paul, the boxing showdown, is scheduled to happen on August 5th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This is Paul’s first time competing in a contest with so many rounds.
In this bout, he is also coming off a split-decision loss to Tommy Fury. Meanwhile, Diaz won his last UFC fight. Following that, he was looking into other MMA alternatives until he landed in this match with Paul.
Although Paul has the edge in age and height, Diaz is known for his incredible cardio, which may play a part in this bout. Furthermore, win or lose, Diaz will undoubtedly walk away with a hefty payday from this bout.
