Neil Magny becomes the undisputed second in the Welterweight division. In a one-sided contest, the 33-year-old has defeated Robbie Lawler at UFC Vegas 8.
The former training partners and fierce competitors in the Welterweight weight class, Neil Magny and Robbie Lawler locked horns at UFC Vegas 8, where Magny emerged victorious.
In the match, Neil Magny was from the outset looked more confident, he did not take much time in successfully getting a hold over his opponent. He dictated the entire match and maintained grip throughout. Lawler had no answer to the technical abilities that Magny possess. After 15 minutes of sheer dominance, Neil Magny made easier for the Judges to display a score of, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27, in his favor.

Neil Magny becomes the undisputed second in the Welterweight division
With a clean sweep over Robbie Lawler, Neil Magny registered his 17th victory in the Welterweight division, and in process went past Matt Hughes. The Haitian Sensation is now lone second in the division now, only behind George ST-Pierre, who has 19 Welterweight victories to his name.

Magny with two behind is only a touching distance away from reaching this milestone. And with GSP unlikely to return, Magny would look to become the supreme leader soon.
