Eric Albarracin recently opened up on Henry Cejudo’s retirement. Cujudo’s coach thinks, Alexander Volkanovski Can Bring Cejudo Back From Retirement.

The former Bantamweight and Flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo  sent shock-waves in the circuit, back in May by announcing retirement. Following his win against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. This move by ‘The Messenger’ came in as a surprise for the entire UFC community. And later got the imprint from ESPN as well when it adjudged Henry Cejudo’s retirement as the biggest surprise of midyear, in the UFC Midyear Awards.

Eric Albarracin on how Alexander Volkanovski Can Bring Henry Cejudo Back From Retirement

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Eric Albarracin, the coach of Henry Cejudo expressed the idea of a possible Cejudo return. And said “There’s really only one fighter that will bring him back and that’s Volkanovski”. He explained ,“That’s about him doing something that has never ever been done. He’s already done being ‘Triple C’ with the Olympic title and two UFC titles. Nobody is ever going to get that especially the mens, but there are champ-champs – he’s the fourth or fifth champ-champ in the history but there’s never been a triple UFC champ in MMA or Bellator”.

He continued “Henry is a conqueror. Once he conquers something he’s like a viking. He’s ready to conquer the next, so that’s what intrigues him becoming a legend amongst legends and an uncommon person among uncommon people”.

Alexander Volkanovski is booked for now

Whether Alexander Volkanovski can bring Henry Cejudo back from retirement, or not, is a matter which may pick leverage in future. However, what is in present is UFC 251, which is approaching and will arrive in a week’s time. With an exciting line-up, that also includes Alexander Volkanovski VS. Max Halloway. The co-main event, the rematch of the Featherweight title, that has drawn worldwide attention.
