Coming back to Miocic vs Ngannou, ESPN’s Ariel Helwani confirmed the title bout on social media.
Another fight being discussed for that card is Tyron Woodley vs. Vicente Luque but that is not a done deal just yet, sources say.

Miocic and Ngannou faced each other back in 2018. The Silencer dominated the Cameroonian all through to win a rather one sided match by unanimous decision. This would be the first loss of Ngannou’s UFC career. He would suffer another loss in his next match but has since racked up four consecutive wins.
Interestingly, the total fight time for Ngannou during his four fight win streak is only 2:42! Not a single one of his opponents managed to hit the 90-second mark of the opening round and he has taken on pedigreed opponents such as Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos!
Miocic on the other hand, has only fought three times since their battle at UFC 220. All three of those fights have come against Daniel Cormier. The two traded the UFC Championship in the first two matches before Miocic successfully defended the title in Cormier’s swansong fight.
Ngannou, now has another chance of becoming UFC Champion and extract revenge on the man who handed him his first UFC loss. Meanwhile, Miocic will look to extend his legacy as UFC’s greatest heavyweight and keep the title on himself a little longer.
