Israel Adesanya Alex Pereira UFC 287

After a quiet week, the fans seem ready and excited for an upcoming UFC card. Why wouldn’t they be? We have a stacked card on April 8th. UFC 287 is filled with some of the biggest sports stars. The main event will be headlined by Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya. These two will fight for the middleweight championship of the world in a rematch. The co-main event is between two dangerous welterweights. Gilbert Burns will Face Jorge Masvidal and this match-up gets fans excited. The question is where will UFC 287 take place and is the location special?

UFC 287 will take place in Miami, Florida and the location is special for many reasons. The fight card itself looks like the one which won’t ever disappoint the fans.

UFC 287 Location: Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira 2

Israel Adesanya has been the king of the Middleweights for a long time. His impressive wins have come against names like Robert Whittaker, Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, Kelvin Gastelum, and many more. His reign was halted by the arch nemeses, Alex Pereira.

This second fight will take place at Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida, United States on April 8th. The fans in Miami are excited about having an event. UFC will be returning to Miami after 20 years and this is a long time.

The Arena would be full of Masvidal chants as he is their own. Colby Covington has, however, claimed to be the king of Miami and Jorge Masvidal disagrees. The fans in Miami would be emotional as Gamebred has said it could be his last fight if he loses against Gilbert Burns.

Israel Adesanya would be under tremendous pressure, as he has lost against Alex Pereira thrice in his combat career. Two times when he was a kickboxer and once in the UFC. This could be his last shot at Alex Pereira as it would be their 4th fight.

Adesanya pretty much did everything right till the time he got stopped in round 5. The positives are more to look ahead, and it would be great to see the strategy that he brings to the table. Alex Pereira is built differently and the power in his hands is unreal. It doesn’t take much to stop the opponent, and we have witnessed the same.

The State of Middleweight Division:

The 185-pound division looks fresh as always. They have a new champ in Alex Pereira now and the fighters seem ready to take him on. The big-name now is present in the 185-pound division in Khamzat Chimaev.

Chimaev has said that Alex Pereira has no ground game, and he feels he could finish him in less than a minute. Whenever any fighter says this, fans consider it a promotion. But that’s not the case with Khamzat Chimaev.

Some of the other names in the division are Robert Whittaker, Paulo Costa, and Marvin Vettori. All these top fighters would be carefully looking at the main event, as they might get a shot at the title next.

Who do you think wins the main event?
