VIDEO: Andrew Tate ‘Returns’ to MMA Training With ‘Father Figure’ and Old Coach Months After Release From Jail

While under house arrest, Andrew Tate, the controversial social media influencer, is attempting to get in shape. He was recently spotted practicing MMA with Amir Subasic, his long-time mentor and father figure. Andrew Tate, aka ‘Cobra,’ and his younger brother Tristan were detained last year on accusations of human trafficking and money laundering in Romania. After more than two months in jail, the court ruled in their favor, and the Tate brothers were freed but were placed under home arrest.

As the investigation into the case continues, it appears that the Tate brothers have resumed their normal lives under house arrest. Moreover, Tate seems to be getting back to his roots.

Andrew Tate trains MMA with long-time coach

The British-American personality has a background in combat sports. Tate was a professional kickboxer with an impressive record of over 75 victories.

Tate, interestingly, is reconnecting with his origins after being freed from prison. He is seen hitting pads with his old instructor Amir Subasic in a recent video posted by the controversial social media sensation on his Twitter account.

 

Tate appears in fantastic form despite years away from the sport, hitting the pad with skill. Furthermore, many of Tate’s fans were overjoyed to see him reunited with his old coach, Amir Subasic.

In multiple interviews, the 36-year-old has spoken about Amir Subasic. Tate attributes his kickboxing prowess to Subasic. Tate has also remarked that Subasic is like a ‘father figure’ to him.

Who is Amir Subasic?

Amir Subasic is the Managing director at SuperFight Series Championship, according to his LinkedIn profile. He trained Tate in the UK at the Storm Gym during the latter’s active years.

Amir was raised in Germany even though, according to the reports, he is Bosnian. He has trained several well-known fighters. Nicola Barke, Big Polski, Andrew Tate, Giannis Skordilis, and many more come to mind.

Was Tate a world champion in kickboxing?

Andrew Tate’s kickboxing career has been nothing short of extraordinary, with 76 victories and only 9 losses in a total of 85 battles. His unrelenting passion and commitment to the sport are reflected in his multiple accomplishments, including Enfusion Live champion and three-time ISKA Kickboxing world champion.

Despite not being crowned champion in prestigious kickboxing tournaments such as Glory, Tate’s knockout and technical knockout victories speak volumes about his talent and prowess in the ring. His remarkable record reflects his dedication, perseverance, and expertise as a kickboxer.
