Weeks After Being Charged With Crimes, Israel Adesanya Questions Arrest of Controversial Andrew Tate

Controversial social media personality Andrew Tate was arrested from his house in Romania last year in December on alleged charges of rape, human trafficking, and organized crime. While the initial detention was supposed to last just one day, he and his brother Tristan Tate ended up spending three months in prison. However, he is placed under house arrest ever since. Interestingly, despite a lack of evidence and major lapses in the story of the accusers, the investigation still continues.

The same has caused a lot of people to question the legitimacy of the Tate brother’s arrest. UFC champion Israel Adesanya is one of them. However, he did it in a rather amusing way.

Israel Adesanya raises questions about Tate’s arrest

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya recently took to Twitter to raise questions about the legitimacy of Andrew Tate’s arrest. However, it is worth noting that it was done in a rather joking way.

‘The Last Stylebender’ posted an edited picture of the former kickboxer being arrested. In the picture, Tate can be seen being arrested by two female anime characters. Israel Adesanya captioned the post by saying:

“Legit question… Is this how he was charged? Cuz it seems fake to be honest.”

The UFC champion’s post quickly grabbed the attention of Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan as well. Both of them later reposted Izzy’s tweet on their accounts.

Adesanya seems to be making him stand clear on the Andrew Tate case. However, this is not the only time he has talked about the controversial star. Izzy once praised Tate for preaching masculinity.

Adesanya once claimed men like Andrew Tate are making men accountable

The past two years have seen Andrew Tate become one of the most talked about personalities in the world. However, that has mostly happened because of the controversies he finds himself in.

The former kickboxer is known to make controversial and s*xist remarks. Despite being a hated figure online, Andrew Tate has a massive fan following across the world and also seems to have the support of Israel Adesanya as well.

During an appearance on the Honey Badger Hour podcast a few months ago, Adesanya spoke about ‘Top G’. The UFC middleweight champion stated that guys like Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate, and David Goggins are trying to make men accountable. He said:

“Jordan, Andrew, Dave Goggins, guys like that. They are the ones who are really pushing men to be accountable as men. You know, the world right now is trying to soften us.”

It was a rather surprising statement by Israel Adesanya as the public sentiment about Andrew Tate is negative and publicly praising him has led to a lot of people receiving hate online.

What are your thoughts on Adesanya’s words for Andrew Tate? What do you guys think about his recent tweet?
