Unai Emery is keen on securing the signature of Ajax prodigy in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are planning to bring in fresh faces to upgrade their squad in the summer transfer window. The Gunners boss is wary of the Champions League football which would make the English outfit attractable again, hence he would want to finish in the top four any cost. The transfer budget would also increase if he manages to bring that particular European competition again.

The Gunners are looking to bolster their forward line and Arsenal believe that the Ajax youngster David Neres would fit their bill, according to the English publication Telegraph. The Brazilian International, who is currently plying his trade with Ajax will be available for a fee around 35 million pounds in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old registered his name on the score sheet during the famous victory against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League Round of 16. The Brazilian also scored a goal against Juventus in the first leg of the last eight to take his tally to 12 in all competitions.

Arsenal have been forced to deploy their striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang through the left wing and the transfer of David Neres would make complete sense for Unai Emery. The report also adds on that the Gunners and Everton have held talks with the players’ representatives in order to lure him away from Johan Cruyff Arena.

Unai Emery will have to shrug the interest from Everton, Manchester United, and Chelsea in order to land him from Amsterdam. There is no doubt that Brazilian would improve the current Arsenal side, who are desperate for a tricky winger capable of contributing much more towards the final third.

Neres received his first call-up for the Brazil squad for last month’s friendlies against Panama and the Czech Republic, against whom he made his debut, coming off the bench to impress.
