This week of Valorant Americas is a tough bout for every team as play-offs get nearer and the strong get stronger. Cloud 9 has looked in spectacular form and MIBR has fallen off after their victory against NRG. This is going to be a really important match for the Brazilian team as they look to capture a spot for the play-offs. However, Cloud 9 is in the way. They have looked spectacular and are the second-best team besides LOUD. Let us break down this match-up.
Will Cloud 9 Win this Valorant Americas Match-up or will MIBR Stun the Crowd?
C9 destroyed Sentinels in their match-up last week. Everyone expected Sentinels to sweep the match with Marved being involved. However, C9 pulled it out of the bag and gave everyone a dazzling display of teamwork. However, MIBR is a different team altogether. Their tactics are different and their strategies keep varying. These two teams have never faced each other previously so there is no head-to-head record of the same. That being said, let us look at the potential rosters for both teams.
C9
- Jakee
- Runi
- Xeppa
- Leaf
- Zellsis
MIBR
- Heat
- frz
- murizz
- jzz
- RgLMeister
Both teams are stacked and MIBR can be a good team if they want to be. Heat has to be the one under a microscope for MIBR since he is the duelist. RGL has been an excellent support player for the team while murizz’s strats have been a little subpar. However, they have to bring their A-Game if they want to grab a win against C9. C9 is at the 2nd spot on the points table while MIBR is in trouble being at the 9th spot. It is do or die for MIBR and they do not want to go to LCQ with any of these American teams.
We predict a C9 win 2-0 since Leaf is looking as strong as ever on Duelist. In addition, if C9 plays bind Xeppa is going to have a good game as Raze. C9 seems to have perfected their map pool and devised tactics that custom-fit their own semi-aggressive playstyle. It will be a tough match-up if MIBR wants to win.
