Valorant EMEA is giving us lots of memorable encounters with NAVI and FNATIC dominating teams. The other 8 teams in the league are struggling to keep up with these two teams since they are a level above everyone. However, that does not mean we do not get entertaining matches from the rest. This week’s showdown is going to be Team Liquid taking on BBL Esports who have awakened with new life in their recent matches. Let us break it down.
Can BBL Esports Defeat Team Liquid to Stay in Competition for Valorant Masters?
BBL Esports recently has looked like a team reborn since they won their last three matches against KOI, Team Heretics, and Team Vitality, respectively. Team Liquid on the other hand has won three out of their last five matches, however, those two losses came up against NAVI and FNATIC, the two strongest teams in the region. Team Liquid, even with a substitute, almost beat NAVI in their match with the score on both maps coming in 13-11. However, with Sayf back in action, Team Liquid is set to fire back and potentially register another win in their league record.
We think Team Liquid is going to win this match 2-1. The reason why BBL will take a map is because they have been really strong on their map picks. In addition, Team Liquid has great individual players but still lacks a lot of team coordination. In terms of head-to-head, Team Liquid has won all four matches that have taken place against BBL Esports throughout Valorant’s history.
Team Liquid is in the fourth position in the points table while BBL is at the 6th. However, a win here would really upset the balance and push BBL to Team Liquid’s spot. That being said, let us look at the teams.
Team Liquid
- Sayf
- Jampii
- Redgar
- Nats
- Soulcas
BBL Esports
- SouhcNi
- Turko
- AslanM4Shadow
- Brave
- QuitionerX
Both rosters look strong and competitive. Sayf missed out on the last game against NAVI because he was ill. However, Team Liquid still put up a fight with substitute Harmii. BBL will need to stop Sayf’s offense and shut down any potential lurks from Nats if they want to win.
