Valorant: SEN Sacy explains to Shroud Why They Lost Split against The Guard

SEN Sacy and Shroud were playing Valorant ranked when the former LLL member explained to Shroud why they lost Split to The Guard.

The first LAN of the year was the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational. The Guard won it by beating TSM, T1, and Sentinels. All the teams looked in good shape and prepared for the upcoming season of competitive Valorant. The Sentinels fans were not satisfied with the team’s performance. One of the more noticeable factors was Dephh’s IGL ability. In a chat with Shroud, SEN Sacy pointed out that it was one of the more apparent reasons they lost.

SEN Sacy Talks to Shroud about Sentinel’s Loss against The Guard on the First Valorant LAN of the Year

Before we get into what Sacy said, the Sentinels did not have any practice together since Sacy and Pancada could not make it to scrims due to visa issues. They recently got visas which gave Sentinels one week of practice. SEN Sacy now mentions that the number one reason they lost to The Guard is that Split was not in their map pool. On top of that, Split has been out of the competitive map pool for a while.

Hence, this explains why The Guard got an advantage on the T1 team. When talking to Shroud, Sacy explained about Dephh’s IGLing. He said,” We played this map against The Guard, and Dephh was IGLing me the whole time because we were so lost.” This is a mature thing to do by Sacy as he did not pin the blame.

Sacy was always known for being a good midround strat caller. Even though Sentinels lost the map, it was not by much. They went Overtime with The Guard, and the latter team won 16-14. It was a good tournament, and the fans had much fun.

Sacy and Pancada are good acquisitions. It was CLEARLY visible by their gameplay. Therefore, with enough practice, we could see Sentinels become the superteam they were designed to be. What did you think of their performance? Let us know in the comments below!
