VAR has ruled out Cristiano Ronaldo’s first goal of the season with Juventus.
Juventus record signing Cristiano Ronaldo’s first goal of the season was cancelled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
Skipper Giorgio Chiellini’s only goal in the 21st minute was the separating point between the Old Lady Lady and Parma. However, the Portuguese International thought he had doubled the lead in the first half, only for the Video Assistant Referee to rule it out.
The Juventus Superstar finished his goal celebration, but the replay suggested that the former Real Madrid forward was millimetres ahead of the defender – which wiped out his first goal of this season.

The forward, who lifted the UEFA Nations League with Portugal, said he could retire from international duties after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He divulged: “I’m not closing any doors. While I have the strength and motivation I’ll always be available for Portugal. I’ll only quit the national team when they don’t want me anymore (laughs). World Cup Qatar? I’m not ruling it out. I think I could still be around for that”.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping to clinch the most desired trophy in Juventus, that is the Champions League.
