Victor Lindelof puts an incredible effort

Victor Lindelof’s commitment was a rare delight for the Manchester United fans on an otherwise dismal night at Old Trafford.

It was another painful night for Manchester United fans as their side was held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace.

United’s performance was highly uninspiring and Crystal Palace came close to taking the lead in the game on numerous occasions. With this draw, Manchester United may have advanced to 7th position in the league, but wasted an opportunity to go further up in the table.

It was also the first time when Crystal Palace took a point from Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

However, one of the rare delights for the home fans at Old Trafford was Victor Lindelofs’s commitment towards the defensive work, even while being injured. The Swedish star tackled and won the ball despite being in pain.

Victor Lindelof puts an incredible effort:

Lindelof picked up a knock in his thigh during the closing stages of the game. The pressure was building up on the defence and with no substitutions left, the defender decided to play through the pain.

Lindelof was seen clutching his thighs and barely able to walk, but when Palace attackers found an opening, Lindelof sprang into action and ensured that he win the ball and clear it, ensuring that United don’t concede.

His heroic effort didn’t go unnoticed as the Old Trafford crowd applauded him, and Jose Mourinho went up to him after the game and hugged him for the commitment he showed on the field.
