Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan troll Ajinkya Rahane over picture of him sleeping with pink ball ahead of India’s day-night test against Bangladesh.
Although Day-Night test matches have been in existence since 2015, India will have its first experience with it come November 22nd. This will be the first time either of India or Bangladesh will take part in a test match played under floodlights.

Naturally the fans are excited. Many have watched a Day-night match in front of their television. However, they now have a chance to witness the event first hand at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It is not just the fans however, who have lost sleep with excitement. The cricketers themselves are in a dizzy over the exciting prospect.
India Vice Captain Ajinkya Rahane however, is perhaps the most excited of them all. The star batsmen took to Instagram to express his eagerness by posting a hysterical picture of himself sleeping next to a pink ball with the caption “Already dreaming about the historic pink ball test 😊”.

Fans joined in on his exhilaration. However, teammates Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan were waiting in the corner to have some fun at his expense.
Dhawan hilariously asked Rahane: “Sapney mein pic khich gayi” (Was the picture taken in your dreams?)
“Nice pose jinksy” Virat added.

Ajinkya made a cheeky reply to Shikhar Dhawan saying “Sapno ne nahi…apno ne pic khichi hai”
India are currently leading the two-match series after a convincing innings win over Bangladesh. Bangladesh were bundled out for 150 on the first day itself and only fared slightly better in the second innings with 213 in response to India’s 493-6 declared.
