Virat Kohli comes up with an amazing gesture on Sachin’s birthday

The entire nation was queuing up with birthday wishes for the great Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli too didn’t shy away, despite his team being subjected to so much humiliation at the hands of KKR last night. In a an amazing video that Kohli put up on social media today, we can see Kohli orchestrating a huge group of fans to sing Happy Birthday for the great man.

Virat Kohli’s admiration for Tendulkar is very well documented, with Kohli time and again stressing on the fact that he grew up idolising Tendulkar. In a heartwarming gesture during last year’s T20 World Cup, Kohli bowed down to Tendulkar after hitting a gritty 50 against Pakistan on a seaming track.

Tendulkar was also subjected to a grand celebration at the Wankhede stadium when the entire crowd sang for him in unison, wishing him a very happy birthday. Sadly, the night did not end on a very good note for the Mumbai Indians faithful, as Rohit Sharma and co. couldn’t chase down 161 on a rather sluggish Mumbai pitch.

Kohli’s RCB get down to business tomorrow as they start a hectic week. Another loss and RCB could kiss goodbye to that playoff spot, despite boasting of the best batting line up in the IPL. They have their task cut out against probably the best bowling line up in the IPL, but Kohli knows a tad bit about leading his team to make improbable comebacks.

Viray and ABD will come hard at SRH tomorrow. Do tune in, RCB could very well breach the highest team score record tomorrow.
