When Virat Kohli went up to the TV member and called for help
Cricket is an unpredictable game. No one can control it as it is based on the chain of events that follows its cycle like a contraption. On rare occasions, we have witnessed some unexpected moments on and off the field that took everyone by surprise.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli had some busy days hitting the nets ahead of their home assignment against Sri Lanka tomorrow for the opening Test at the Eden Gardens.
With the Tests to follow, Virat Kohli was spotted striking the balls below his hip to knee level. As usual, he flaunted off his batting traits practising against Mohammed Shami.
During the session that went on quite well for Virat Kohli, one of the balls that he faced Shami escaped from getting it on to the willow and ended up hitting the TV member.
TV crew members work behind the scenes. They play an important part in capturing the footage of cricketers’ practising all day and release it to the BCCI’s Twitter handle.
The ball did go like a brisk pace and hit the TV member who got injured at the drop of the hat. Virat Kohli who saw this incident rushed towards him and called for ‘help’.
The pace Mohammed Shami who was at the other end also followed Virat Kohli to track the TV member to check whether the injury is less or severe one.
The duo raised their hands and shouted for help. The Indian team physio received the signal and rushed to check in the condition and the injured guy got medication on time.
