WATCH: Ball hits the stumps, but Quinton de Kock miraculously survives
The second ODI at the Centurion is underway, with India having put South Africa into bat, sticking to their strategy of chasing down targets in ODI cricket.
Amla and QDK have been in imperious form at the Centurion in the last 12 months, and while Amla got off to the perfect start against Bhuvi, QDK survived in miraculous fashion, facing his first ball of the 2nd ODI.
Bumrah cranked one up, with QDK rocking back to defend it, but the defence was not strong enough, as the ball rolled back onto the stumps, but did not have enough pace on it to actually knock the bails off.
QDK survived, much to the agony of the Indians.

Match Situation
QDK and Amla have had to be circumspect in the initial few overs, with the Indian bowlers being really tight with their lines.
Virat Kohli and co. would be vying to keep the South Africans under 250 here, with the spinners sure to get into action during the middle overs.
Hashim Amla is leading South Africa’s charge as of now, with QDK trying to find his feet, after a very woeful series(ODI and Test).
India know that South Africa’s middle order is really short on experience and have not played enough against the trickery of Kuldeep and Chahal.
