India go into the 3rd and final ODI against England a little wounded, as the tour that seemed all rosy at first turned into a nightmare at Lord’s when the Indian batting unit just couldn’t get going against the England spinners.

Kohli and the Indian team management have a lot to ponder about after the loss, as suddenly, with Dhoni not coming good in the last game, that middle order seems a little too fragile.

The number 4 and number 6 slot are still up for grabs, as none of the batsmen seem to take full toll of their opportunities.

Along with the top 6 issue, India also need to ensure that they have at least one bowling option amongst the top 6 so that they can go into every match with at least 6 bowling options.

It is a pity that none of the top 4 batsmen bowl and hence the number 6 batsmen will have to be a part time bowler, in order to provide balance to the Indian side.

Raina seems to be the best option currently, but India will need to experiment in the upcoming series, as the World Cup is just a year away now.

Amidst all of this tension, Virat Kohli decided to appease the fans a little and posted a wonderful video of Indian fans singing the national anthem before the game against England, one that surely results in a lot of goosebumps for Indian players.

He thanked fans for their unconditional support for Team India, through thick and thin.

“One of the best feelings watching this video! Thank you everyone for your constant and unconditional support for us. Your cheers and love motivates us to keep trying harder every time!” Kohli tweeted
