Watch: Ben Stokes gets hit on the helmet by vicious Hazlewood bouncer

Watch: Ben Stokes gets hit on the helmet ruthlessly by a vicious bouncer by Hazlewood that it broke his helmet during the 4th day of the test.

England is playing the historic Ashes series against England, and it is the fourth day of the 3rd test match of the prestigious series. England started the day on the crease, as its the last innings of the match.

This ashes series has seen a number of ruthless bouncers with Jofra Archer even injuring Steve Smith with his deadly bouncer, which hit the Australian Batsman’s head, ruling Smith out of this match.

However, today it was England, who were at the receiving end of the bouncers, as Ben Stokes got hit by a deadly bouncer by Josh Hazlewood in the 76th over.

The Australian bowler delivered a bouncer at the speed of 83.9 mph, and Stokes bears the Jofra Karma brunt. Hazlewood bangs it in short, quickly rearing up and over the pull and smash him on the side of his helmet.

The impact of the delivery was so hard that Stokes behind ears protectors fly-off from the helmet making it a scary sight to look. Fortunately, Stokes was fine, and the helmet guarded the batsman’s head perfectly.

Moreover, unlike Smith, he did not seem to have caught any concussion and continued playing further. Presently, the English batsman is still on the crease and helping his nation to win this test as slowly the World Cup champions are nearing towards their total.

Amidst all this, a lot of banter on the field is going on, as in a rare sight Stokes is playing a slow inning to make the English side stable or one could say surviving the Australian balling in order to not lose the match. Tim Paine even commented in humour enquired that is Ben Stokes planning to draw this match?
