He has since become a regular fixture for Lampard and has scored 5 times in his last 3 Premier League appearances including the header from today. However, Pulisic could have added another to his tally in the half. Unfortunately, his brilliant attempt was saved.

Christian Pulisic and Chelsea would have the last laugh in the end. Tammy Abraham’s strike in the 52nd minute gave the Blues the lead and The Eagles never looked like they were in the match after that. Christian Pulisic then piled the misery on Crystal Palace by scoring in his third consecutive Premier League match with his last touch of the match.

As far as dominance goes, this was a perfect match for Chelsea. They led over the visitors in every aspect of the game. They had more possession, more passes, more shots and in the end more goals. Lampard may not want to come out and say it directly, but at this point, Chelsea have now firmly placed themselves as the dark horse in the Premier League this season.
