If you would ever want delight Cristiano Ronaldo during midweek, all you need to do is present him with Borussia Dortmund, as he absolutely loves playing and scoring against them.
On a night when Ronaldo needed two goals to beat Messi’s record of 60 goals in the Champions Leageu group stage, Ronaldo has started in emphatic fashion, setting up the first goal for Madrid and then bending one past the goalkeeper with pin-point precision.
Ronaldo received the ball at the edge of the box, and in his trademark style, lined up to the launch an effort on goal, and ended up putting the perfect bend on the ball, to deposit it in the top, right-hand corner.
With this goal Ronaldo became the first player to score a goal in each of the 6 group games, an achievement that will go down as another feather in his already illustrious cap.
