Watch: David Warner disentangling kite landed inside the Wankhede stadium amidst India Vs Australia’s 1st ODI match of the series.

David Warner had an amazing day on the field as his marvellous knock of 128* cruised Australia to victory in the first ODI match of the series, meanwhile winning the man of the match award.

Amidst the glory, Warner had a chucklesome moment in the park. While the match was at its tense stage and India was burdened with giving a good score at the Wankhede, a kite landed in the middle of the ground.

A large piece of thread along with the kite caused a brief hindrance in the match. So, the Australian batsman took the initiative of dealing with the trouble.

Warner was seen pulling the thread to the ground while he was holding the kite on the other hand. Fans on Twitter quickly reacted to the Australian International dealing with an Indian kite.

The match was amidst the Makar Sankranti festival, in which many Indians fly kites to celebrate. But still, the moment seemed to be bit comical even though the game came at a halt.

However, things did not go well with India in the second part of the match, Warner and his partner Aaron Finch stayed on the ground till the last run as they achieved the target without losing their wickets.

Australia thrashed India by 10 wickets, a kind of lose which India had faced nearly after 2005. The men in blue have arguably the most lethal bowling lineup yet it failed to get even one success on the board.

Although, India came close to seal wickets on several occasions but they were supported by India’s misfortunes. Finch also scored an undefeated knock of 110 to finish the match with ease.
