WATCH: Indian U-19 team comes up with a unique celebration after winning the World Cup
So much drama, so many emotions, so much ruthlessness. The Indian boys have been brilliant in the U-19 World Cup, going undefeated in the entire tournament and showing the world that Indian cricket is in safe hands for the next few years.
While India has often relied on big name stars to pull them through in big tournaments, this U-19 World Cup win was all about the team work. Right from how Rahul Dravid mentored the colts to how every team member stood up during important moments of the tournament, this event has been special for every Indian cricket fan.
And the boys ensured that they capped it off with a wonderful celebration, running towards the field after the winning runs were scored and then came up with what was in probability a FIFA inspired celebration.

Manjot Kalra took on the mantle of anchoring the run-chase today, with Shaw and Gill having done it in the earlier rounds. Kalra scored a brilliant hundred to ensure that there were no stutters during India’s, rather easy chase.
But credit will have to go to India’s bowling unit, who pegged back the Australians after what looked like a very strong start from the openers.
All the bowlers then chipped in with wickets, not letting Australia set up a respectable total on the board on the day of the big final. Anything in excess of 250 could have posed trouble to India’s batting line up, considering the pressure of the World Cup final
Rahul Dravid and the boys were ecstatic after the win, and Dravid very modestly let the moment belong to the young colts. He also hoped that this win would not remain the highlight of their lives.
