The BBL final is underway and the Adelaide Strikers are putting up quite the show, thanks to special hundred from Weatherald.
The T20 romantic is being greeted to a wonderful final and while some brilliant cricket is on display at the Adelaide Oval, Jofra Archer came up with a ‘brain fade’ moment to bring down the ‘cricketing’ level of the final a bit.
The incident happened in the 11th over, when Rogers dropped a tough return catch from Head.
Head struck a back of the length delivery straight back at Rogers, with Rogers not being able to get his hands in the right position to take that catch. The ball ricochet off his hands and to the mid off fielder, who in all probability should have collected the ball and thrown it back to the keeper.
But the ball was seen rolling away to the boundary, as Jofra Archer had his head in his hands, due to Roger’s missed opportunity. Archer was facing the long on fielder while doing it and only after the ball had passed him did he start sprinting towards the boundary to prevent Adelaide Strikers from getting 4 overthrows.

Archer shot to fame in this year’s BBL, claiming 16 wickets for the Hurricanes and then getting a Rs 7.2 crore deal from the Rajasthan Royals.
Right after his bid, Archer was belittled on social media in India, for having tweeted anti-Dhoni and anti-India tweets in the past.
The Adelaide Strikers have put up 202 on the board in the first innings, and the Hurricanes will have their task cut out, with the pressure of the score board sure to play a huge role in the final.
D’arcy Short has had an amazing BBL until now and would be hoping to help the Hurricanes script a wonderful chase in the BBL final.
