One of the toughest aspect of captaincy in the IPL is to remember the names of all team members, especially when there is so much chopping and changing going in teams all through the tournament.

And it is more so difficult when you are a new captain in the tournament and are already struggling with nerves before the start of your first IPL game.
At the toss for the SRH vs RR game yesterday, Kane Williamson, who was captaining SRH for the first time, succumbed to his nerves whilst listing down his overseas players for the match.
He could remember the first three of them(with he himself being one of the them) but just couldn’t muster the name of his fourth overseas player.
He turned to look around to see his team warming up, but he still couldn’t come with an answer.
Ajinkya Rahane, the RR captain though came to his rescue, prompting the answer for Williamson, saying it was Shakib that he was missing out.
The moment brought about a bout of laughter from everyone involved at the toss.

SRH brought about a very satisfying win in their first IPL game of the 2018 season, outplaying RR in all three domains.
Shikhar Dhawan was brilliant in the run chase for SRH, not giving the RR bowlers even a sniff. The damage though had been done by the SRH bowlers in the first innings, limited the Rajasthan batsman to a very meagre total.
