Kohli and Paine's frosty handshake

Kohli and Paine’s frosty handshake: Both the captains were seen shaking hands with each other after the match ended.

Given the amount of banter that has happened between both the captains in Tim Paine and Virat Kohli in the recently concluded Perth Test, temperatures were bound to increase between both the teams.

Luckily for the game, there was no swearing throughout the match despite several players going at each other. Kohli’s doubtful dismissal in the first innings and him emulating Peter Handscomb during practice further raised the bar during the Test.

After Australia completed a 146-run victory to come back in the series, the hosts were the all-round winners of all that had been happening since Day 1. While Kohli seemed to not make a fuss about all the banter during the presentation, he was seen in an intense and frosty handshake with his counterpart Paine.

It all happened when all the players were shaking hands with each other. While Paine was seen saying something to Kohli, he seemed to have made a straight face and not utter a word.

Former Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson, who was actively expressing his views on both camera and social media platform Twitter throughout the match, retweeted the above video praising Paine and his leadership.
