Sevilla and Barcelona went head-to-head once again this season and it produced an exhilarating contest with Ernesto Valverde’s side coming out on top to secure three points at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

During the dying minutes of the game, Messi rounded off a hat-trick before Luis Suarez netted once in the injury time to win the game 4-2.

With these three goals, he secures his 50th hat-trick in his career, only one behind his rival Cristiano Ronaldo. He has scored 36 goals in 35 games against the side from Seville which is the most against any side in the La Liga.

Certainly, he was the centre of attraction on Saturday night following this stupendous outcome.
