Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni was seen shaking a leg with the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, in what is the first time we have seen the pair seen their rumoured relationship almost ten years ago.
Dhoni and Deepika along with CSK’s Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo and Mumbai India’s Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah danced for a commercial ad.
There was news of Dhoni’s affair with the actress when the cricketer was reaching the peak of his career. Deepika made her debut in Farah Khan’s film Om Shanti Om in the year 2008.
That time Dhoni had tried to meet Deepika and asked all his journo friends to introduce him to the actress. Dhoni also asked the co-actor Shahrukh Khan to introduce him to the actress.
Even director Farah once said humorously to Dhoni, “Why don’t you ask Deepika if she is a cricket fan?”
Though the fact that it was not confirmed, their affair became the talk of the town and it was pretty hot. However, the two parted for an unknown reason and their love didn’t last long. Since then we have not seen the two sharing a common stage.
It was said that Deepika and Yuvraj were also involved, which is why Dhoni walked away as he did not want to make the situation messy.

However, Deepika is the girlfriend of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. The couple had been spotted together many times and accepted the relationship publicly. According to the news, the couple is planning to tie the knot in the near future in Switzerland.
After winning a thriller game in the opener of their 2018 IPL campaign against Mumbai Indians, CSK is set to play their next game. Dwayne Bravo was the hero of the match for his brilliant knock and he dedicated his award to Dhoni for believing him.
CSK will be facing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 10th April at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
