Dhoni drives Kedar Jadhav and Rishabh Pant

Dhoni drives Kedar Jadhav and Rishabh Pant: The Indian wicket-keeper batsman was witnessed driving with the Indian cricketers.

With the third ODI of the ongoing Australia’s tour of India to be played at Ranchi, it seems as if the local boy in former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni is taking good care of his teammates.

A recent video of Dhoni driving all-rounder Kedar Jadhav and wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant in his Hummer is in the city doing the rounds across social media platforms.

Among the other set of photos which have taken the internet by storm are of the Indian cricketers being having a grand dinner at Dhoni’s home in Ranchi. Captain Virat Kohli, fast bowler Mohammed Shami, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav took to their respective social media accounts to thank Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni for dinner.

The veteran cricketer recently became one of the rare cricketers to have a pavilion in a stadium on his name while he is still playing. However, he had refused to inaugurate the same before the third ODI.

Coming on the back of his worst year in ODIs (in terms of number of runs scored), Dhoni has doubtlessly turned the tables this year. In eight ODIs this year, Dhoni has scored 301 runs at an average of 100.33 and a strike rate of 80.05 including four half-centuries.

With India winning the first two ODIs at Hyderabad and Nagpur, they would be looking to register another victory to gain an unassailable lead the series. Having achieved that, India would then be able to afford trying out a few players in the name of auditioning for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
