WATCH: MS Dhoni hits the roof of the Dharamshala stadium
MS Dhoni- The Messiah came to the fore against Sri Lanka today, bailing India out from an embarrassing position of 16/5 to a rather respectable total of 112.
MS Dhoni was losing partners left, right and centre, as the Indian middle order failed to apply themselves in testing conditions, unable to play against the superlative bowling of the Sri Lankan seamers.
Dhoni though battled along, absorbing the pressure from the Lakmal and Pradeep and taking on the spinners, in order to get some runs on the board for India.
MS Dhoni hit Nuwan Pradeep over cover from a brilliant six before following it up with a powerful shot down the ground, hitting the roof the stadium in Dharamshala and sending fans all across the country in a frenzy.

India have set Sri Lanka a target of 112 in testing conditions and would be hoping that the new ball bowlers can bail them out and win them the game.
